    Bunnahabhain 12 to accompany our seasonal A La Carte Menu

     Brian and the team are delighted to be working with the good people at Distell this month, and look forward to offering our guests the quality Bunnahabhain 12 as our single malt whisky of the month.

    Produced on the spectacular island off the west coast of Scotland - Islay

    Bunnahabhain (pronounced bu-na-ha-venn) is an approachable dram that is quite different to other Islay offerings.

    It is known for its gentle taste and is made using the islands natural underground water which remains untainted by the peaty moorlands.
    Production began over a century ago and its distillation method remains unchanged to this day using unpeated malted barley. Because it's not chillfiltered, the depths of flavours and aromas can really shine through in this amber liquid.
    The nose will fresh and aromatic with a subtle smokey quality. The taste begins with light fruit and nut leading to a malty sweetness on the palate -lingering into a rich finish.
