Uddingston based Kwik Fit Insurance has rewarded employees for 5 years loyal service with a luxurious lunch prepared by Brian Maule, chef proprietor of the celebrated Glasgow fine dining restaurant, Chardon d’Or.
77 employees were joined by Kwik Fit Financial Services Managing Director, Brendan Devine and his board of directors on Friday, June 12, for a relaxing day out. It consisted of a cocktail reception, followed by a three course lunch and a presentation to reward employees for the hard work and dedication to the company.
Each member of staff was presented with £60 worth of vouchers to spend on a high street shopping spree before retiring to the private bar to enjoy cocktails and drinks. Afterwards employees were chauffeur driven home and given the rest of the day off to relax and enjoy the glorious weather.
Brian Maule, chef proprietor of Chardon d’Or, said: “We were delighted to see the staff and directors of Kwik Fit Insurance returning to the restaurant to celebrate their long serving staff. It was a pleasure to see so many employees from Kwik Fit Insurance being rewarded for excellence and loyalty whilst also enjoying a fantastic meal.”
17 fellow employees of Kwik Fit Insurance are also being treated to an overnight stay at the five star holiday resort, Turnberry Hotel, where they will be pampered after completing 10 years service with the company.
Brendan Devine, Kwik Fit Financial Services Managing Director, presented the worthy employees with the awards. He said: “It’s important for us as a business to reward employees who contribute greatly to our sustained success. Despite difficult financial times, our business has continued to grow and our loyal workforce has been an integral part of that. Almost 20% of staff are still here after five years and without this ongoing dedication we would not be where we are today.”
